The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2009. The development and the growth were very progressive and within a short period of time the department earned the reputation of being one of the best for Civil Engineering education. The Department is accredited by NBA in 2018, and re-accredited in 2022 which is valid till 2025. The Department of Civil Engineering at Anurag University provides a full education within the integrated fields of Civil Engineering. The courses span from introductory classes on bachelor level to advanced courses on master level. The Department has well experienced and dedicated faculty with ten doctorates from eminent institute like IIT’s, NIT’s, IIIT’s and other reputed Universities, and several others pursuing their Ph.D. The unique combination of faculty members with expertise in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Technology and Management and good laboratory facilities brings an interdisciplinary research culture in the department.
